Dear Markham Family,

It is with great enthusiasm and a deep sense of pride that I welcome you to the 2025–2026 school year at C. Robert Markham Elementary School—a place where children are nurtured, challenged, and empowered to succeed. I am honored to serve as your principal and to lead a school community that believes in the limitless potential of every child.

Our school is grounded in a clear vision: to provide a quality education through high academic standards in a safe, orderly, nurturing, and student-centered learning environment. Our motto, “Excellence Every Day, High Standards, Bright Futures.” This is more than a slogan—it is the foundation for everything we do. From the classroom to the playground, every experience at Markham is designed to help students grow intellectually, emotionally, and socially.

We believe that every student can achieve success when surrounded by caring adults, meaningful learning experiences, and a supportive environment. Our dedicated faculty and staff are passionate about delivering engaging instruction that meets the diverse needs of our students. Whether your child is beginning kindergarten or preparing for their transition to middle school, our goal is to equip them with the skills and mindset needed to thrive in a rapidly changing world.

We also believe that family involvement is critical to student success. When parents and educators work together, children benefit immensely. I encourage you to stay informed, stay connected, and get involved. Join our Parent Teacher Association (PTA), attend School Advisory Council (SAC) meetings, and take an active role in supporting your child’s academic journey. Your voice matters, and your partnership is vital to our shared success.
